BRISTOL, Tenn. (WRIC) — An Amber Alert has been issued for a Bristol, Tennessee teenage girl believed to be with her father, a man who’s been ordered not to have any contact with the girl.
Lt. Debbie Richmond with the Bristol, Tenn. Police Department says the pair ditched the gray, 2004 Ford F-150 extended cab pick-up truck they were originally traveling in. Police found it on the side of the road on Kentucky Avenue in Bristol, Tenn.
Brooklyn and Morrison were spotted on foot at a Walmart on Wednesday night near Exit 7 in Bristol, Va. A surveillance image (see above) shows the pair on foot.
Lt. Richmond said Morrison has gained a substantial amount of weight (100 pounds) since the picture provided (see right).
Bristol Police have received dozens of tips from people that know both Brooklyn and Morrison. Officers have followed up on those tips, but say they have missed the pair by minutes at each location.
The Bristol Tennessee Police Department plans to charge Mark Morrison with custodial interference and a violation of order of protection.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) says Morrison has a violent criminal history with convictions for carnal knowledge of a child 13 to 15-years-old, robbery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
