Henrico Police release surveillance images of suspect in jewelry store burglary

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Police are investigating after a smash and grab burglary at Adolf Jewelers in Henrico.

Around 4:06 a.m. on Thursday, officers responded to the 1500 block of N. Parham road for a commercial alarm. Responding officers found a vehicle that had run into a business. At this time, authorities say the incident is being investigated as a commercial burglary.

It was determined that the suspect, a light-skinned black male, drove the vehicle into the business, removed jewelry and fled the store on foot.

Police say the vehicle used in the burglary was stolen sometime during the overnight hours between March 30 and the time of the incident.

The victim is in the process of conducting an inventory to determine the amount of the loss.

Detectives are investigating.
