RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Skies are briefly clearing out after an overcast day. Skies turn from partly cloudy to mostly clear this evening, and we’ll see a low of 52.

Clouds return tomorrow, bringing the chance for a sprinkle in the afternoon. Highs will top out near 73 with southerly winds turning to the East at 5-15 mph.
Steadier rain arrives in the evening hours, with a low of 56 early Monday morning. Rain may be heavy in the early pre-dawn hours of Monday. We’ll wake up at 7 a.m. to a few showers, but they’ll quickly wind down by late morning.
Rain Sunday night through Monday morning could amount of a half to one inch or more. Skies remain cloudy Monday afternoon with a high near 70. Another push of rain arrives again on Monday evening.
Tuesday may start with a few straggling showers, but we’ll see skies trying and clearing in the afternoon with a high of 72.
Wednesday brings mostly sunny skies and a high topping out near 80.
Rain returns again on Thursday, with highs in the mid 70s.
Friday cools down quite a bit behind a cold front, returning us much closer to normal, with highs in the low 60s.
Saturday we’ll see increasing clouds and a high near 60.
Temperatures continue to tumble into next Sunday, with more rain chances.
