HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A woman is facing several charges in Henrico after she allegedly abused the 911 system and bit a police officer.

Police tried to serve a summons on 33-year-old Tara Denise Archer for harassment of the 911 system. In the two months before November 20, police said they had 13 documented reports and on average three calls per week to Archer’s residence. Additionally, Archer would be transported to local medical facilities at her request only to sign out against medical advice.

As officers attempted to serve the summons, Archer refused to sign her copy. She was taken into custody and attempted to bite an officer.

Archer was charged with harassing a 911 system, attempted assault on law enforcement and trespassing.
