Rubio stops in Virginia ahead of Super Tuesday

RICHMOND, Va (WRIC) — Sunday, Marco Rubio makes a stop in Virginia ahead of Super Tuesday.

Senator Marco Rubio was greeted by thousands of supporters, cheering him on, at James River High School.

Aaron Watson, a Rubio supporter, attended the the rally to cheer on the presidential candidate.

“It was great to hear somebody communicate not only an optimistic message about our country but also talk about his vision for this country and how we can not only win an election but how we can expand the republican party and i think that’s really important for this particular election,” Watson said.

During his speech, Rubio promised to repeal Obama care and the Iran nuclear deal on his first day of office.

He even called out his opponent Donald Trump, calling is campaign a “con job of the highest order.”
