RPD seeks suspect in Chamberlayne Avenue homicide

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Detectives with Richmond Police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted for the murder of Nathaniel Bullock on Monday in the Ginter Park neighborhood.

Officers were called to the 3000 block of Chamberlayne Avenue just after 7:00 a.m. when neighbors reported hearing an argument and shots fired. When police arrived, they found Bullock, 25, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Bullock was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

Police say 24-year-old Miquel D. Olivis is wanted on charges of first-degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. He also has outstanding warrants in Henrico County.

Olivis is described as a 5-foot-10 black male weighing approximately 180 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous. Detectives urge citizens to call 911 if they see him and stress that he should not be approached.
