UPDATE: Chesterfield Police said late Friday night that C’ere Hill and Sesha Hill were safely located in New Cumberland, PA.
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield Police are searching for a missing woman and child who were last seen at about 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18.
C’ere L. Lewis, 33, and her 9-year-old daughter, Sesha Hill, both of the 4300 block of Sharonridge Drive in Chesterfield, were last seen on Thursday evening. Relatives of Lewis called police at about 11:55 p.m.
After Lewis and Sesha had not returned home Thursday, C’ere’s father, Sesha’s grandfather, says it’s extremely out of the ordinary for his daughter no to come home.
“The not knowing is the worst part of it. Not knowing just wondering where are you, what’s going on, what happened to you, why aren’t you here?” said Melvin Lewis.
Police said Lewis and Sesha left the residence in a four-door, silver 1993 Toyota Corolla bearing Virginia license plates XTM-7606.
Lewis is described as a black female, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. She has brown eyes. She has black hair that is currently cut very short. Sesha is described as a black female, about 4 feet tall and weighing about 70 pounds. She has black braided hair and brown eyes. For now their family is hoping for the pair’s safe return.
“Family means everything to me, that’s the most important thing in life,” said Lewis.
