Man, 14-year-old charged in two Henrico armed robberies

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Police charged a 14-year-old and a man in connection to two Henrico robberies.

On December 25 and December 27, 2015, officers responded to two commercial robberies on the Williamsburg Road corridor. In each incident, police say the suspects entered the business, displayed a firearm and demanded money. Detectives were able to link the incidents based on location, time and suspect descriptions.

Police investigation identified 26-year-old Anthoney Gordon Douglas and a 14-year-old juvenile as being responsible for the robberies.

Douglas was charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.  The juvenile was charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The juvenile was placed into detention.
