Police seek woman who cashed stolen lotto tickets in Chesterfield County

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield County police are searching for a woman who recently cashed in lottery tickets that were stolen during a robbery last week.

At 11:20 p.m. last Wednesday, December 30, a man robbed the Circle K convenience store at 11800 Ivey Mill Road. Police said the suspect, who was armed with a handgun, entered the business and demanded money, cigarettes and lottery tickets. He fled after receiving the items. No one was injured during the robbery.

Approximately 20 minutes after that robbery, police say a blue sedan with a male and female occupant entered the parking lot of the Wawa at 11021 Iron Bridge Road. Moments later, the woman entered the store and cashed several lottery tickets that were stolen from the Circle K. The male accomplice also entered the store at one point.

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying both suspects, although detectives are still working to determine whether or not they were involved in the Circle K robbery.
