KIMT News 3- The US Army Institute of Environmental Medicine are looking for volunteers to eat “Meals Ready to Eat” for 3 weeks as a way to find out the effect they have on the body in order to try and make the meals more health for soldiers.
Jay Lee, a Retired Master Chief says each meal has about 3,000 calories, and you could easily eat around 11,000 a day.
“I really liked eating them,” says Lee. “I ate them for several months during Dessert Storm, these people are only going to eat them for 3 weeks, and it will give them a chance to try all of the different meals.”
