Richmond stabbing victim dies from injuries

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A man is dead and a suspect has been charged after a stabbing late Wednesday night in Richmond.

According to police, a male suffered life-threatening injuries after being stabbed around 10:45 p.m. in the 2200 block of Williamsburg Road. Authorities say the incident is domestic related. We learned Friday night that the victim, 36-year-old Tyrese Minor of Highland Springs, died from his injuries.

43-year-old Kenya N. Williams, of the 2200 block of Williamsburg Road, has been charged with aggravated domestic assault. Additional charges are pending as the Medical Examiner is working to determine the official cause and manner of death.
