(CNN) – If anyone can pull off a Vogue cover shot while pregnant, it’s supermodel Chrissy Teigen.

Teigen revealed on social media this week — with a picture of her cover for Vogue Thailand — the gender of the baby she’s expecting.

A couple of minutes after the photo was taken, “John and I learned we were having our little baby girl,” Teigen said.

“So proud and honored to have shot the cover of Vogue Thailand! Special to me for so many reasons,” she said.

Teigen and Grammy-award winning singer John Legend wed in September 2013 after a lengthy courtship.

She announced in October, after struggling with fertility issues, that a child was on the way.

Teigen previously told talk show host Tyra Banks that she and Legend had been trying to conceive for years.

“We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened,” she said. “It’s been a process. We’ve seen fertility doctors.”
