“Krampus” is what happens when you lose that holiday spirit. Members of a family that clash over the holiday end up summoning the evil, demonic Anti-Santa into their home. He uses their holiday decorations against them. They will have to get along if they want to defeat him. Starring Toni Collette and Adam Scott, The holiday horror movie is unrated.
“Chi Raq” is Spike Lee’s take on inner city violence. Based on “The Lysistrata” by Aristophanes, the film follows a grieving mom after her son is killed by a stray bullet in Chicago. Friends organize a rally to stop the violence and come up with a way to try and get their men to put down their guns. The film stars Jennifer Hudson, Wesley Snipes and Nick Cannon. It’s rated “R”.
