RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The four men who were arrested after robbing a person at gunpoint and stole their vehicle in New Kent last Friday are facing additional charges in Richmond.
At approximately 5 a.m. last Friday, November 27 – roughly an hour-and-a-half before the New Kent carjacking – police say a female reported that she was exiting her vehicle in the 00 block of Vine Street when four unknown males displayed a gun and robbed her.
No one was injured during the incident.
An investigation determined the four suspects in the New Kent carjacking were responsible for the Vine Street robbery as well.
All four suspects, Anthony Tyrone Williams, Jr., Colin Ray Dugger, Davis Dewayne Jackson, and Javanta Lightfoot were charged with robbery and are being held on no bond.
In regards to the New Kent carjacking, the suspects face the following charges:
- Armed Carjacking
- Conspiracy to commit armed carjacking
- Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
- Grand Larceny
- Credit card theft
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon – Jackson Only
- VSP Trooper R. Tench charged Lightfoot with Felony Elude and Driving While Suspended
Williams, 21, lives on the 23800 Block of Cutbank Road in McKinney; Dugger, 22, lives on the 2500 block of Shady Side Drive in Petersburg; Jackson, 24, lives on the 25406 block of Shady Side Drive in Petersburg; and Lightfoot, 21, lives on the 15700 block of Allen Road in Dinwiddie.
