CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield Police have confirmed that the worker injured at the Reynolds Aluminum Packing plant on Wednesday has died.
They say that 55 year old Eric Howard McClellan was transported to VCU Medical Center after he got caught in a piece of machinery at the plant. He died shortly after at the hospital.
Chesterfield Fire and Emergency crews responded to the industrial accident around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at the plant which is located on Reymet Rd.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
