(WRIC) — PetSmart is expanding its recall of fish bowls after several serious injury reports.

The glass fish bowls can crack, shatter or break during normal handling. So far, the company’s received 20 reports of the fish bowls breaking during normal use and 14 additional reports of cuts to fingers and hands. Seven of those cuts required stitches and three others required surgery for lacerated tendons.

The recall impacts 1.75 gallon glass fish bowls sold under the Great Choice or Top Fin brand names. The fish bowls were sold nationwide from March 2010 through September 2013.

If you have one of the recalled fish bowls, you should stop using it and return is to any PetSmart store for a full refund.
