RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control stores will again offer discounts on Black Friday this year.
The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control says that on Nov. 27, all of its stores will offer 10 percent off any in-store purchases totaling $50 or more before taxes, and 15 percent off for purchases of at least $75. Lottery and gift cards are excluded from consideration.
On Nov. 30, the same discounts will apply for customers who order products online for pickup at an ABC store. About 220 products will be available online.
ABC Chairman Jeff Painter says the discounts allow customers to buy premium brands at reduced prices for gifts and holiday entertaining.
Virginia residents also can register Nov. 27 to win one of 250 $25 gift cards that will be awarded in January.
