VCU hosts forum on diversity and inclusion

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — After VCU students gathered in the Compass last week to hold a peace rally in support of University of Missouri students, school officials are holding a forum to discuss diversity and inclusion on campus.

“As one of America’s premier research universities, our mission includes thinking about and acting to solve social problems, and I applaud these students for advancing that mission,” said VCU President Michael Rao in a statement released last week.

Today, senior members of VCU’s leadership team, student leaders and members of the Board of Visitors are hosting a Presidential Forum on diversity and inclusion.
