HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Henrico Police arrested a suspect in a commercial robbery.
Police say officers responded to a business in the 3000 block of Lafayette Avenue for a commercial robbery around 8:10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26. According to authorities, the suspects, one armed with a handgun and the other a hammer, entered the business and approached the victims and demanded money. The suspects forced the victims into the office area. The victims complied and handed over money. The suspects then forced the victims to the floor and bound their arms prior to fleeing the business.
No injuries were reported.
One of the suspect was identified as 18-year-old Brandon Jayquan Johnson-Sigh. He was charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of abduction, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, conspiracy to commit robbery and wearing a mask in public.
