CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Two men have been arrested on multiple charges of credit card theft after using a skimmer at a Bank of America in Chesterfield.

According to police, 21-year-old Kirill Korotkov and 27-year-old Andrei Turski were pulled over after officers observed them at the Bank of America at the corner of Buford Road and Forest Hill Road. They were found to be in possession of cash, multiple credit and debit cards and a skimming device. Each suspect was charged wit six counts of credit card theft.

Detectives are working with the banks to determine what accounts were compromised by these two suspects, but say that may take a number of weeks.

Police are asking anyone who has used the ATM where the skimming device was placed in the past several weeks to to regularly check their banking accounts and pay attention to their statement. If you notice any irregularities, contact the financial institution and the police department.
