CAA: #16 William & Mary nips #9 JMU; #6 Richmond holds off Albany

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — Kendall Anderson scored a rushing touchdown with less than a minute to play, and William & Mary recovered a late fumble to nip James Madison 44-41 at Zable Stadium Saturday.The Tribe did not hold a lead until the fourth quarter.

In Richmond, the Spiders hosted the Albany Great Danes and had control of of the game for most of the first half. Richmond had leads of 24-7 and 38-10 before Albany scored three-straight touchdowns to make it a close final at 38-31. David Jones had four interceptions in the game, the only Richmond Spider to ever pick off that many passes in one game.
