Police search for suspect after Chesterfield bank robbery

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WRIC) — Police are searching for a man who robbed the Wells Fargo bank branch at 7300 Jefferson Davis Highway at about 10:45 a.m. on Saturday.

Police said the man approached a teller and passed a note demanding money. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was displayed during the incident. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 20 to 30-years-old and 5 feet 6 inches tall. He had a thin black mustache, two facial piercings on his upper cheekbones and a distinct tattoo on his right hand. He was wearing dark-colored pants, a black jacket and a black baseball-style cap.
