RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The VCU Rams men’s basketball team will have 28 of its 30 regular season games televised for a third consecutive year.
The Rams begin the season on November 13th vs. Prairie View at 7:00 p.m. over in the Stuart C. Siegel Center. The biggest non-conference games will come November 20th for the 2K Sports Classic at Madison Square Garden. They will begin the tournament against the fourth ranked, defending national champion Duke Blue Devils, then follow that up with a game against either Georgetown or Wisconsin on November 22nd.
Other non-conference games of not include two games in Atlanta, Ga. against ACC foes Florida State and Georgia Tech on December 6th and 15th.
VCU’s conference schedule starts January 2nd vs. George Mason at the Siegel Center, 5:00 p.m. tip off.
There will be 17 home games in total for Will Wade and his team, including the Capital Cup Classic on February 19th vs. intercity rival Richmond.
