3 injured in 2 overnight Richmond shootings

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Police are searching for a suspect after two people were shot overnight in Richmond.

Police tell 8News that officers heard gunfire just before 11:30 p.m. Monday. They responded to the 1900 block of Creighton Road and found two women in the street.

The victims are expected to be okay, but were taken to the hospital.

Police say a possible suspect was driving a silver car.

A few hours later, around 2 a.m., another person was found with gunshot wounds in the 6400 block of Glen Way Drive. That victim suffered life threatening injuries and was sent to a local hospital.
