Richmond Police: Teen suspects brandished firearm, robbed victim of sandwich

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Police detectives need the public’s help to identify several male teens who are suspects in an armed robbery last week.

Police say around 8 p.m. on Monday, August 24, that several suspects followed a man out of a restaurant at W. 12th Street and Semmes Avenue, brandished a firearm and robbed the victim of a sandwich the victim had just purchased. The suspects then fled on foot.

There were no injuries in the incident.

Police sent video and images are from the business just moments before the robbery.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about these persons to call First Precinct Detective Brian Taylor at (804) 646-0689 or call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both methods are anonymous.
