Man clinging to life after being shot multiple times in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – A man is clinging to life this morning after a shooting Tuesday night in Richmond’s Gilpin Court.

According to Richmond Police, a call for shots fired came in at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday night at the 1100 block of St. John Street.

Police say a man was found at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Police say that they do not have a suspect in custody.

Police are hoping that people in the community will come forward with what they know about the shooting. If you know anything, you’re asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
