Fire displaces residents of 6 Henrico apartments

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Residents of six apartments will be displaced, a total of 25 people and two children, after a fire in the west end of Henrico on Tuesday.

Officials say fire crews were called to the Copper Spring Apartments off of Broad Street around 12:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters found flames in a second floor apartment.

No injuries have been reported.

Crews are still on scene investigating. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
