RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A cold front is still in the process of tracking through central Virginia, a few isolated heavy downpours well east of the city this morning out towards the bay. These will continue pushing east as the actual frontal boundary transitions eastwards with it. Winds out of the north today will push all the remaining sticky conditions out of the region and replace it with a more comfortable air mass in time for the weekend!
Expect a few clouds this morning giving way to increasing sunshine through the day, temperatures in the middle 80s today. Clear and cooler this evening and overnight with low temperatures falling back into the low to middle 60s, great sleeping weather.
The weekend ahead of us is looking fantastic for any outdoor plans. Mostly sunny skies both days with highs in the lower to middle 80s with comfortable humidity levels. Have a great weekend!
