INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Jared Fogle’s attorney says “no comment” in regards to media reports that his client is poised to take a plea deal.

Ron Elberger, Fogle’s attorney, didn’t offer any additional details regarding the reports.

24-Hour News 8 reached out to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, who also could not confirm or deny reports that a press conference is expected to take place Wednesday.

According to CNN, two law enforcement officials have confirmed that Fogle is expected to plead guilty to charges related to possession of child pornography.

24-Hour News 8 received a statement saying “We have already ended our relationship with Jared and have no further comment.” That statement was later tweeted by the company.

Fogle’s home was raided by the FBI in early July.

Police said that raid was connected to a child pornography investigation following the arrest of Russell Taylor, former executive director for the Jared Foundation.

Taylor faces federal charges for production and possession of child pornography. Taylor was arrested in April after an investigation.

Subway immediately suspended its relationship with the famous spokesman.
