HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Three people are still facing felony murder charges in the death of a 3-year-old in Henrico.
Felony child neglect charges against Clarence Raiford Jr., his wife Alexis Denise Raiford and William Corey Moore were nolle prosequi in court on Monday, meaning the charges have been dropped but could be brought back up at any point in time.
A grand jury had previously indicted the trio on murder charges in July.
All three are being held without bond.
Raiford Jr., his wife and Moore were babysitting three-year-old Zyon Thompson when he died in April.
The medical examiner has not yet released a cause of death for Thompson.
