RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — It will be a sunny, hot and humid day across central Virginia as highs climb into the lower 90s.
There may be a few more clouds during the afternoon, giving us partly sunny skies, but we will remain dry. Our skies will be partly cloudy tonight and it will be muggy with lows in the lower 70s.
Tuesday will feature partly sunny skies and it will continue to be hot and humid with highs around 90. There is a chance for a few isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon.
Wednesday will be a repeat of Tuesday with partly sunny skies highs around 90 with a chance of a late day thunderstorm or two.
A cold front will approach the region for Thursday and that will help to kick off a better chance of late day thunderstorms.
Behind that cold front, the heat and humidity will break as we head into Friday and the weekend. We will see partly sunny skies with highs in the middle 80s for Friday.
Saturday and Sunday will be just as nice with sunny to mostly sunny skies and highs in the middle 80s.
