Don’t forget vaccines as the first day of school approaches

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Parents, school is quickly approaching! This is just about the perfect time to get your child vaccinated.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, school-age children from preschool to college need vaccines.

Make sure your child has all of their vaccines to help them stay healthy.

August is National Immunization Awareness Month and this year, the Richmond City Health District will provide school physicals for children 3 to 7-years-old on Friday, August 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. That’s located on 401 East Main Street.
