Car slams into building after hit-and-run in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Three cars were involved in an accident that sent one vehicle crashing into a convenience store in Richmond Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the incident began with two cars traveling on Hull Street when one of them struck the other and sped away.

The vehicle that was struck, an SUV, was forced into a parking lot where it struck a parked car and forced that car into the convenience store.

Police have recovered the vehicle that started the chain reaction and fled, however no suspects have been located.

Police tell 8News that two people suffered minor injuries.
