Virginia Union, Virginia State, and William & Mary start fall practice

Virginia (WRIC) — All over the state, area colleges and universities hit the field for the first day of fall football practice.

Virginia Union’s first whistles blew at 6:30 AM. Virginia State and new head coach Byron Thweatt met with the media in Ettrick at 1:00 PM before a 3:00 PM practice. William & Mary talked about quarterback stability for the first time in years.

All three teams will begin the season Saturday September 5th.
