HENRICO, Va. (WRIC) — Parents, don’t forget: Henrico County Public Schools has a website designed to keep parents up to date on their child’s progress at school.
Power School is a newer program that parents can check on everything from their student’s report cards to attendance.
“It gives parents information that they may not get readily from their child.”
To use Power School, parents have to create an account, just like any other online sign-up process: you choose a username and password, then enter your child’s name, student ID number and their date of birth.
“They’re going to be able to see the assignments that the teacher has given the students and the grade that they got. And they’re going to be able to see the attendance.”
And, you don’t have to have multiple accounts for multiple children. Kids will have their own account already set up by the school system.
“They’ll be able to move between the multiple children in the family and they won’t have to log-in and log-out.”
There, you can access information about lunch menus, bus schedules and more. Click here to learn more and check out Power School.
