Richmond bar hosts fundraiser for Chesterfield biker killed in I-85 crash

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — An area bar is hosting a fundraiser for a Chesterfield man who was killed in a horrific accident on Interstate 85 last week.

The fundraiser is taking place Thursday night from 7 to 11 p.m. at Beer Thirty, located at 2709 Williamsburg Road in Richmond.

Six motorcyclists were struck by a tractor trailer last Friday on the side of I-85 after they pulled over for a break. The tractor trailer left the scene and continued south on I-85. A Florida man, Daniel Serna, is being charged with felony hit-and-run and misdemeanor death in connection to the crash.
