RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Even though the cold front has passed, we’re starting off the morning still on the more humid side of things. That won’t last much longer, though!
Dewpoints continue to drop, and with it, so will the humidity.Today we’re in for mostly sunny skies and a high of 89 degrees.Less humidity this afternoon will really make for a very comfortable day compared to the awful stickiness we’ve been dealing with lately.Winds are north, turning northwest at 5 to 15 mph. Tonight stays mainly clear with a low of 66 degrees.
Tomorrow will be much the same. We’ll stay on the lower side of humidity, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s. If you live southeast of the city of Richmond, you could see a few showers Thursday afternoon. An area of low pressure currently in central Oklahoma will move east and merge with a system that will develop off the coast of North Carolina. This will bring afternoon rain chances for extreme SE Virginia, but the Richmond area and points north and west will remain dry.
Friday brings mostly sunny skies and a high of 90.
The weekend brings about a few extra clouds, turning us partly cloudy, but at this point it looks to remain dry with highs in the lower 90s.
