‘Joe Dirt’ sequel debuts on free streaming service

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Fourteen years after the release of David Spade’s cult classic Joe Dirt, there’s a sequel, and it says a lot about how things have changed since then.

Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser won’t be shown in theaters or even a paid subscription service like Netflix. Instead, Joe’s new dirty adventure is streaming for free on Sony’s Crackle — which you can access online and on Roku and Amazon Prime Video.

In the original, Joe is struggling to find his family and a love lost to a villain played by Kid Rock.

The sequel involves a time machine.
