RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Clouds will be increasing ahead tonight of our next weather system.
We’ll see rain chances arrive well after midnight tonight, but rain and storms will have a good presence in our day tomorrow. We’ll start the day with rain and storms, see some breaks in the activity, with more scattered storms in the afternoon. Tomorrow’s high will be 84 degrees.
Tuesday things change drastically, with the return of the heat and intense humidity. We’ll see a high of 93. Isolated storms are in the forecast, and the Storm Prediction Center has already placed part of the area under a slight risk for severe storms Tuesday, particularly starting in the afternoon.
Wednesday brings isolated afternoon storms with a high of 92.
Thursday will be quiet, with mostly sunny and what looks like dry skies for now. Afternoon temperatures top out in the low 90s.
Friday we’ve got a high near 90 with isolated afternoon storms.
Saturday and Sunday will be the same, but hotter. Temperatures will be climbing into the mid 90s come next weekend.
