Capitol Police searching for 2 persons of interest in recent credit card thefts

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Capitol Police are searching for two persons of interest after three credit cards were stolen and used in the area.

Police say that officers responded to a report of credit card theft on Wednesday at the James Monroe Building located at 101 North 14th Street.

The credit cards were then used unlawfully to make purchases at the Apple store, Best Buy and Walgreens located in Short Pump.

A review of the video surveillance footage from the different stores showed two unknown black females driving a black Mercedes e350 coupe with an unknown Pennsylvania registration.

The first person of interested is described by police as a black female who stands at about 5 foot 10 inches, weighs about 150 pounds with black hair. Police describe the second person of interest as a black female, standing at around 5 foot 7 inches, weighing about 130 pounds with brown hair.
