Spiders’ Basketball Players Visit ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — On Thursday morning members of the Richmond men’s basketball team visited the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation to work with children on basic basketball skills.

Players involved include senior Deion Taylor, juniors T.J. Cline and Josh Jones as well as redshirt-freshman Paul Friendshuh and Khwan Fore. Director of Basketball Operations Ryan Butler also visited the headquarters in Richmond.

“We were there to have fun with the kids and really get involved with the community,” Friendshuh said. “It was great to feel like we made even a small impact for these kids who go through so much at a young age.”

Children got a chance to spend one-on-one time with the players and ask questions after finishing the basketball drills at the foundation
