RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department said Monday that they have made arrests in three homicide investigations.
Police arrested and charged 26-year-old Keeshawn T. Branch, of the 3100 block of E. Marshall Street, with conspiracy to commit murder. Reports say after midnight on April 19, the Richmond Police Department officers were called to the 600 block of East Brookland Park Boulevard for a report of a person shot. When officers arrived on the scene they found 29-year-old Rolan Angaroo inside a residence dead from a gunshot wound.
An arrest was also made in connection to the Grove Avenue homicide that occurred on May 31. Officers responded to an apartment in the 4600 block of Grove Avenue for a domestic dispute between a man and a woman. When they arrived, 38-year-old Woodrow E. Anstead was inside the apartment suffering from a knife wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died. 37-year-old Christina M. Mabry, of the 4600 block of Grove Avenue, was arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder and using a weapon to stab or cut.
The last arrest made was a person of interest in a homicide that occurred on the afternoon of June 24 in Gilpin Court. Police responded to the 1100 block of St. John Street for a report of a shooting. 34-year-old Dante L. Suber was found to be suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he died from injuries. 42-year-old Lamont A. Coleman, of the 5500 block of Midlothian Turnpike, was arrested and charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
