Police searching for suspect after armed robbery in Henrico

HENRICO, Va. (WRIC) — Police are searching for a suspect in a robbery that took place on Thursday in Henrico.

Authorities say that on June 11, the victim was approached by an unknown male who demanded his wallet in the 2100 block of Tomlynn Street.

The victim refused to give up his wallet and a fist fight ensued, according to police. During the fight, the suspect pointed a black semi-auto handgun at the victim.  The victim then gave the suspect his wallet. The suspect then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 210 to 230 pounds, 35-45 years old, wearing a white button up shirt, a black dress style vest and black pants.
