VCU’s Stiffler on Paul Keyes: “He paved the road.”

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — VCU Baseball is enjoying historic success in 2015, and the team’s head coach and seniors say much of it has to do with a man who passed away in 2012.

Paul Keyes won more than 600 games at VCU as well as five CAA championships. He took the Rams to more than a half-dozen NCAA regionals. Now his successor, Shawn Stiffler, has helped take the Rams to new heights using some of the players Keyes brought to VCU.
