Chesterfield Police still searching for suspect who shot at off-duty deputy

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Shortly before 9 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2015, an off-duty Chesterfield County Deputy Sheriff was working security at the Addison at Swift Creek Apartments on Lonas Parkway in Chesterfield County. Suddenly and without warning, a vehicle made a quick maneuver in front of the parked deputy. An occupant in the vehicle opened fire on the deputy’s vehicle.

Thankfully, the deputy was not struck. The suspect vehicle immediately fled the scene. The suspect vehicle is described as a gold or possibly tan Chevrolet sedan.
