RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Imagine: A celebrity waits on you for dinner. You have a chance to make your dreams come true and contribute to a good cause — all in the river city!
A few NFL players will be at Morton’s Steakhouse on Friday to serve up smiles and raise money for charity. The fundraiser allows guests to have a “unique fine dining experience as professional athletes and celebrity guests serve them a fabulous meal at Morton’s Steakhouse.”
Michael Robinson, an area native who also played football at Varina High School, will serve as the maître d’ with celebrity waiters including Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks, Andre Branch of the Jacksonville Jaguars and other professional athletes and celebrity guests.
There will also be a live and silent auction to include a Seattle Seahawks experience, an NFL Films experience and more…
Proceeds will benefit Excel to Excellence and its signature program, TEAM EXCEL, Robinson’s own charity organization established “to address his concern for under-served children that were getting left behind in our society.”
Cocktails start 6:30 p.m. and dinner is at 7:30 p.m.
