It’s been about a year and a half since Paul Walker died in a car accident in California.
For friends, family and fans of the Fast and Furious franchise, though, the pain is still fresh.
Last night at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, rapper Wiz Khalifa joined singer and pianist Charlie Puth as well as violinist Lindsey Stirling for a touching rendition of “See You Again,” a song from the Furious 7 soundtrack, in honor of Walker.
The song, which debuted in a tribute video to Walker in April, was penned by Puth.
The trio’s performance made for the most emotional moment during a night otherwise primarily concerned with theatrics and ceremony.
