RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Two storms will merge off the Vorginia coastline tonight, which will allow for showers to become more widespread over the area through the middle of the day tomorrow.
Showers will be likely tonight, especially in the overnight hours as lows fall back to around 50.
Showers are likely Friday morning, and the will taper off from northwest to southeast as the day moves along. Highs will be back in the low to middle 60s.
For the weekend, Saturday will be the transition day out of this stormy weather pattern and into the milder pattern that 8News’ meteorologists are expecting for the first week of May. It will be mostly sunny and while the 8News team cannot rule out a cloudburst, they say there is only a remote possibility of rain. Highs will be in the upper 60s and the lower 70s.
Sunshine is on tap for us Sunday through Tuesday with highs climbing into the upper 70s into the lower 80s.
A front will try to approach from the north on Wednesday, so an isolated thunderstorm is possible in the middle of next week over the area. Those days will be hot as highs could reach to around 85.
