RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — It’s back! Richmond’s Restaurant Week (RRW) kicks off on Monday, giving you a week to dine at 30 local restaurants for a discounted price!
Today through April 26, you can attend participating restaurants and help eliminate your hunger — as well as someone else who may be less fortunate.
Area chefs are showing off their skills by creating a three-course fixed menu and they’re offering it up all week for $29.15 per person.
Why such a pricey plate? According to RRW, “the cents represent the year we’re celebrating. The whole dollar amount helps support the Central Virginia Food Bank and Meals on Wheels and the costs associated.”
On top of a great dining deal, the restaurants donate $4.14 from each meal to FeedMore, the umbrella organization for the Central Virginia Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.
RRW has raised over $400,000 in food for others to date.
