PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — Phillip Ketter, the father who abducted his 4-year-old daughter last week in Petersburg, has been extradited from North Carolina and is currently being held at Riverside Regional Jail.
Last Wednesday, Virginia State Police issued an Amber Alert for 4-year-old Kayla Ketter after she was taken from her Petersburg home by her father, Phillip Ketter. She was safely located hours later in Charlotte, N.C. after Phillip called authorities to turn himself in.
8News has confirmed that Ketter has returned to Virginia after being extradited on an outstanding warrant.
He is facing two charges – one misdemeanor count and one felony count – of abduction and kidnapping.
